Organization Basics

An organization represents a hierarchical node in the system against which data can be stored. In organizations where multiple chapters or locals exist, the organization represents that chapter or local. The information local to the organization can only be viewed by organizational nodes above the current organization or within the organization itself.

This model is very powerful for allowing schools or locals with multiple facilities to structure their data hierarchically.
